Part of our gruesome 'Cooked B' shoot LOL It's all makeup, just some tweaking on color and contrast and such.

“I do find the story of Christ fascinating however,” B said. “The Passion in particular. Martyrdom engages me. The notion of scourge and suffering for beliefs—of beliefs and principles above life. It’s hard to find balance in my world. It’s hard to establish hierarchy like that. I have no lines, I have no definition—walls do not hold me—beliefs… beliefs mean nothing. Though I wish they did. Even Kira has beliefs… though Kira would never martyr himself. He doesn’t understand sacrifice. You Mello… maybe you do. Or you would have left this place by now.”
Mello sucked in a hard breath and his ribs ached. Nevertheless he had enough focus to spit a defiant glob of blood at B’s feet. B looked down at it. “Would it help if I prayed?” He suggested. “Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem, Creatorem caeli et terrae. Et in Iesum Christum, Filium eius unicum, Dominum nostrum, qui conceptus est de Spiritu Sancto, natus ex Maria Virgine, passus sub Pontio Pilato, crucifixus, mortuus, et sepultus, descendit ad infernos, tertia die resurrexit a mortuis, ascendit ad caelos, sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis, inde venturus est iudicare vivos et mortuos. Credo in Spiritum Sanctum, sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam, sanctorum communionem, remissionem peccatorum, carnis resurrectionem, vitam aeternam. Amen.”
He said the Latin in an eerie, blasphemous way—a cadaver with bones and no flesh, body but no spirit; it seemed to illustrate everything he was trying to say and Mello didn’t have half the mind to understand if B was being honest, or if he was being mocked.
